Who we are

Leela School of Performing Arts is a dance school offering classes in East Windsor, Kendall Park, and Monroe, New Jersey, with a branch in the Dallas, Texas area. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Booking and registration details — when you book a free class or register, we ask for your name, phone / WhatsApp number, your town, the program you’re interested in, and (for children’s classes) your child’s first name and age so we can place them in the right level.
• Payment information — tuition and fees are processed by our class-management and payment providers (Class Manager and Stripe). Your card details go directly to them over encrypted connections; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Messages — if you contact us or book a class, we keep the messages we exchange (text/SMS, WhatsApp, email) so we can follow up properly.
• Website analytics — we use standard analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site — pages visited and how you found us. This is aggregate usage data, not your child’s information.

Children’s privacy (COPPA)

Our website, booking form, and registration are designed for parents and adult students — not for children to use on their own. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The information we hold about a child (name, age, class level) is provided to us by the parent or guardian for enrollment and class placement, and we use it only for that purpose.

As a parent or guardian, you may review the information we hold about your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time — contact us using the details below and we will honor the request.

How we use your information

• To schedule your free trial class and place students in the right program and level.
• To send booking confirmations, class reminders, schedule changes, and follow-ups by text, WhatsApp, or email.
• To bill tuition and fees through our payment providers.
• To improve the website and understand which of our posts and pages bring families to us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Text messages (SMS) and WhatsApp

When you submit our booking form, you agree to receive text messages about your booking — confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or by telling us on any channel; we’ll stop texting you about anything other than what’s strictly needed to complete a booking you’ve asked for.

Who we share information with

• Service providers who help us run the school — class management and registration (Class Manager), payment processing (Stripe), messaging, and website analytics. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• Legal requirements — if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our students and staff.

How long we keep information, and how we protect it

We keep enrollment and billing records for as long as your family is enrolled with us, and afterwards only as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, and we rely on established providers (Stripe, Class Manager) for the most sensitive data, such as payments.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to opt out of text messages.
• Ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you or your child.
